Neuroscience of Synergistic Motor Control

I led studies identifying synergistic behaviour of spinal motor neurons of more than 10 hand muscles and found correlations between synergistic aspects at the muscular and kinematics level in the upper limb

Wearable Neuro-Mechanic Interfaces

My publications provided a proof of concept of several types of neuro-mechanic neural interfaces, like neuromorphic spinal-motoneuron interfaces for gesture detection and multi-modal wearables with myoelectric, inertial and touch recordings. I pushed at the highest-level achievable High-density EMG for neural-driven gesture control.
